United Presbyterian is one of over 330 Earth Care Congregations (ECCs) who have chosen to dedicate themselves to intentional earth care.

 

ECCs affirm an Earth Care Pledge to integrate environmental practices and thinking into its worship, education, facilities, and outreach. They are recertified each year through continuing actions in these four areas. Here's what UPC is doing.

 

Members of our church family participate in the ECC program by contributing ideas, volunteering in activities, and completing similar actions in their own homes. The church operating teams (Renewal, Outreach, and Resources) report to Session on earth care plans and progress in their areas.
